The 80W unit runs up to 5 metres of 480 Pro strip; the 160W runs up to 10 metres. Both figures assume the strip draws no more than 80% of the driver's rating, which is the margin that keeps the driver cool and gives it a long service life. Each end has screw terminals under a hinged clear cover: Earth, Live and Neutral on the mains side, and two pairs of V+ and V− on the output side so two runs can share one driver.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is non-dimmable. If you want to dim, add a 24V PWM dimmer between the driver and the strip. It is IP20, so it belongs indoors, in a dry spot with air around it, such as the cove itself or a ceiling void.
