COB Strip Pro 480 · RA95+
480 Pro Strip
- Ra95+, R9>50 ·Skin tones, timber, and fabrics render accurately. Most strip lights run Ra80.
- 24V dotless COB ·Runs cooler and more stable over long runs than 12V. 8mm PCB fits standard aluminium channels.
- 480 LEDs/m ·50% denser than the 320/m strips most of the market sells. No visible dots, no hot spots — even at close range or in shallow coves.
Ships within 2–4 working days. Free delivery on orders over $80.

Frequently asked questions
Why is this S$98 when I can find LED strip for S$20?
The S$20 strip is usually 320 LEDs/m SMD at Ra80 — a different, lower-density product. At S$98 you are in the premium COB tier, where the comparable strips sit at a similar price. The difference is that we publish and guarantee our numbers — Ra95+, R9>50, SDCM≤5, tested per batch — where most at this price publish no CRI figure at all.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, but the dimming is done by the driver, not the strip. The strip is a passive 24V load. For a dimmable cove, use a dimmable 24V constant-voltage driver with a trailing-edge (ELV) wall dimmer, or a 24V controller for app control. We size the whole setup for you — just send your run length.
Can I cut it, and where?
Every 50mm, on the marked cut points. Each 10m reel includes both end connectors. If you are cutting into more than two sections you will need clip-on connectors or to solder the joints.
How long does it last?
20,000 hours at L70 — meaning it still holds at least 70% brightness at 20,000 hours. Running eight hours a day, that is close to seven years. It is covered by our warranty when installed with a compatible Safety Mark driver.
Why does high CRI mean fewer lumens?
Rendering colour accurately uses more of the LED's output on the full spectrum rather than raw brightness. This strip produces around 1,000 lumens per metre at 12W — a generic Ra80 strip will read brighter on paper, and make timber, food and skin look flat. It is the trade-off quality spaces make, and we would rather you knew you were making it.
Driver Sizing
Multiply your strip length by 12W per metre, then add 20% headroom so the driver isn't running at full capacity. A driver running flat-out runs hot and fails early.

Quick reference
| Strip length | Power draw | Recommended driver |
|---|---|---|
| 3 m | 36W | 45W (24V) |
| 5 m | 60W | 75W (24V) |
| 8 m | 96W | 120W (24V) |
| 10 m | 120W | 150W (24V) |
| 15 m | 180W | 220W (24V) |
| 20 m | 240W | 300W (24V) |
Power the strip from both ends, or split into segments with separate feeds. This prevents voltage drop, where the far end of a long run appears dimmer than the start.
What driver to buy
Use a 24V constant-voltage LED driver. For dimmable installations, use a phase-cut dimmable 24V driver rated for trailing-edge (ELV) dimming, paired with a trailing-edge wall dimmer. Leading-edge (TRIAC) dimmers commonly cause visible flicker on COB strip. KAYVA strip itself doesn't dim on its own — the driver controls dimming.
for connecting the driver to mains power in Singapore. The low-voltage side (driver to strip) is safe to handle when unpowered.

DOTLESS. END TO END.
No dots. No shadows.
COB technology places 480 chips per metre on a continuous phosphor strip. The result is perfectly even light — no visible diodes, no hotspots, no shadows. Even in shallow coves viewed up close.

COLOUR ACCURACY
Ra95+ rendering, true to life.
Most strip lights sit around Ra80. KAYVA runs at Ra95+, which means skin tones, fabrics, and finishes look the way they actually do — not washed out or shifted cool.

BUILT TO LAST
20,000 hours, no flicker, no fade.
Quality COB chips and stable 24V constant-voltage operation keep brightness and colour consistent over the strip's lifespan — so it looks the same on day 2,000 as it did on day one.
