Description
A standard-fit E27 bulb built to a colour standard most are not. The KAYVA E27 Dim runs at 2700K warm white, spreads light across a wide 160° for pendants, table lamps, and exposed fittings, and dims smoothly on standard wall dimmers.

It renders at Ra95+ with R9 above 50, so reds, skin tones, timber, and fabrics look the way they actually do — not washed out or shifted cool. R9 is the spec most bulbs quietly fail: standard CRI (Ra) averages eight pastel samples and skips saturated red, where most LEDs score zero or negative. KAYVA holds R9 above 50.

At 9W it delivers 1013 lumens and is rated to 25,000 hours at L70 — running eight hours a day, that is over eight years. High colour rendering means fewer lumens than a bargain bulb of the same wattage; that is the deliberate trade-off for light that shows finishes and skin honestly.

Frequently asked questions

Where is this bulb meant to be used?
Pendants, floor lamps and table lamps — anything with a standard E27 screw fitting. It is a 9W bulb built for the fittings where you see the light directly, so colour accuracy matters most.

How bright is it?
9W, warm 2700K. It is a bright, everyday bulb suited to main-room pendants and lamps rather than task spotlighting.

Is it dimmable, and on what?
Yes, on standard phase-cut circuits. We recommend a trailing-edge (ELV) dimmer to avoid flicker; leading-edge (TRIAC) dimmers can cause visible flickering on LED.

Why only 2700K, no cool option?
E27 bulbs live in pendants, floor and table lamps — decorative, relaxed spaces where warm 2700K light suits best. If you need neutral white for a work area, a GU10 downlight in 4000K is the better tool for that job.

Is it the same Ra95+ quality as the rest of the range?
Yes. Every KAYVA product is Ra95+ with R9>50, tested per batch. The E27 is not a lower tier — it is the same colour standard in a screw-fitting bulb.

COLOUR ACCURACY

Ra95+ rendering, true to life.

Most E27 sit around Ra80. KAYVA runs at Ra95+, which means skin tones, fabrics, and finishes look the way they actually do — not washed out or shifted cool.

Dims without a separate driver.

DIMMING

Dims without a separate driver.

Works on the standard TRIAC leading-edge wall dimmers already fitted in most homes. Smooth dimming with no visible flicker and no extra hardware to install.

R9 above 50. The difference you see.

DEEP RED RENDERING

R9 above 50. The difference you see.

Ra95+ alone doesn't tell the full story. R9 measures deep red accuracy — skin tones, warm wood, rich fabric. KAYVA GU10 Switch scores R9=86. Most Ra90 bulbs score below 30.
