Five years on strip. Three on lamps. Replaced, not argued about.
Every KAYVA product carries a written warranty against premature failure, colour shift beyond ±150K, and driver fault. Keep your order number — that is the whole registration process.

The terms, in full.
Covered
- LED failure — dead segments, flicker, or output below 70% of rated lumens
- Housing, lens, or finish defects — yellowing, cracking, or corrosion under normal indoor use
- Driver fault, including buzz, dropout, and failure to strike on TRIAC dimmers
- Adhesive backing lifting on strip installed to a clean, dry, primed surface
- Solder joint or connector failure on factory-terminated runs
Not covered
- Strip run beyond its rated length per feed, or driven above 80% driver load
- Installation in an unventilated channel without the specified aluminium profile
- Water ingress on IP20 products, including bathrooms and external soffits
- Third-party drivers, dimmer modules, or controllers we did not supply
- Physical damage, cutting outside the marked points, and mains voltage faults
Warranty runs from invoice date and covers the original purchaser. Replacement is like-for-like; where a model is discontinued we supply the closest current equivalent at the same CCT and CRI.
Four steps. Most are settled in a week.
Step 01
Send the details
Order number, what failed, and a short video of the fault under normal use.
Step 02
We assess
Two working days. If it's a driver or dimming issue we usually diagnose from the video.
Step 03
Replacement ships
Batch-matched where possible, so the replacement reads the same as the rest of the run.
Step 04
Return the faulty part
Prepaid label included. We test every returned unit and publish the failure rate.
Tell us what failed.
No receipt needed if you ordered from kayva.sg — the order number is enough. Shopee buyers, use the Shopee order ID.

Common ones.
Do I need to register the product?
No. The order record is the registration. If you bought through a contractor, ask them for the invoice number and the warranty transfers with it.
Do you cover the cost of re-installation?
We supply replacement product free, including delivery. Labour to remove and refit is not covered — for cove installations we recommend budgeting an access allowance at design stage.
My replacement strip looks slightly different. Why?
We hold batch records against every order and match where stock allows. Across a batch change the tolerance is ±100K and SDCM ≤5 — visible only side by side on a white wall. Tell us if it reads wrong and we'll swap it again.
Does the warranty survive if I sell the property?
Yes. The warranty follows the installation, not the buyer. Pass on the order number and the remaining term stands.
What if the fault is my installer's, not the product's?
We'll say so plainly and explain what went wrong — usually overloaded drivers or strip run past its per-feed length. Replacement product is then available at trade cost.
Before You Install
Most claims are avoidable. Size the driver properly.
Our driver sizing guide covers per-feed run lengths, 80% load headroom, and which dimmers we've tested on TRIAC.
